At a seminar last week, I told my audience we needed a radical shift in mindset and attitude to win in 2022. As the euphoria of prophetic declarations settle, you must get to work your goals.
Prophetic declarations that are not underpinned by intentional actions is a waste of spiritual activity. After all, faith without works is dead — James 2:17.
You can declare all you want but unless you take intentional steps of faith in partnership with and obedience to the Holy Spirit, you are simply not going to make progress.

Take intentional risks and be willing to fail forward
To unlock your capacity and position yourself to fulfill purpose in 2022, you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone and take God-centered risks.

If you can overcome your fear of failure and be willing to take risks, you’re on to a winner.
Too many times, we are too afraid to fail we fail to take action. Failure is perfect platform to learn and grow because it does not define who you are.
Until you’re willing to fail, you may never succeed. So be willing to act on your goals regardless. Follow through. Press on. Push through.
Great achievers embrace failure as an asset, not the enemy of success. That’s because they understand it to be an event in time and not final.
Make the move!
So you have crossed over to 2022 with yet another promise to change behaviors, start a new project, learn a new skill, break barriers to living out your purpose…
But have you started?
I know the problem; you’re waiting for man’s approval and validation. If that’s you, you’re not ready yet to win in 2022.
Don’t sit around waiting for others to validate you when God already has. He gave you the vision and planted the desire in the first place.
Sometimes, we fail to win because we stay too long in the land of ‘perfect’ planning and analysis when we should simply start by faith, trusting God for the desired outcome.
Stop seeking man’s permission to start the vision that God has laid on your heart
If unclear, ask God for clarity. You’re His child and vessel. Then go ahead and make the move… and He will back you up.
Do it afraid
You’ve probably heard the phrase “Anything worth doing is worth doing well”. That’s true. But there’s a difference between excellence and perfection.
Too often we want to be perfect when all we need is to be present and pursue life with excellence. And that means doing it afraid, if we must.
Perfect is never a pre-requisite for winning. Sometimes, you simply don’t have it all figured out. And God doesn’t expect you to either.
When God asked Abraham to leave his home country or take a journey to Moriah with Isaac to sacrifice him, he did it afraid. They weren’t easy decisions.
But he trusted God was able to bring him back to life — Hebrews 11:17-19.
